Located in kacyiru, we are a creative hub where art, culture, and community collide. From vibrant exhibitions to intimate open mic nights, we provide the space for artists to stand tall and stories to be told.

What We Do ?

Founded with a vision to preserve and evolve Rwandan storytelling, Ikingi Arts Space started as a small gathering of painters and poets. Today, it stands as a testament to the resilience of our culture.

We are very enthusiastic to hand made art, every art piece is well thought and made with love, ensuring that the history of Rwanda is not just remembered, but recreated daily.

From traditional basket weaving (Agaseke) to modern acrylic painting. Our workshops are open to kids and adults every weekend.

Cultural Nights

Olivier Kwitonda

"I founded Inkingi arts from the money i got from sale i made of my own paitings. It started as a dream yet not its one of the key places to visit to learn about Rwandas history , learn how to paint etc.. . I'm really grateful that i didnt quit earlier on , my story should inspire many."
